What is the ExtraCare Card?
The CVS ExtraCare card allows you to take advantage of their Extra Care Buck program as well as receive in store coupons via snail mail or email. You can sign up for an ExtraCare card when you create an online account. If you already have an account, sign in and go to the ExtraCare page, and follow the instructions to Get a Card now. Or visit your local CVS/pharmacy store and get a FREE ExtraCare card on the spot.
You cannot get ECBs when you shop online.The ECB program is tied to your CVS card. If you forget your card at home, the cashier can manually enter in your phone number. The register then will pull up the information on the last card scanned that is associated with this phone number.
What are CRT Coupons?
CRT coupons: In addition to ECBs printing at the bottom of your receipt, you may receive CRT coupons. These can be very general ~$1 of any pain reliever, or these can be more specific~ $2 off of a $10 Tylenol purchase. You may also receive CVS coupons such as $4 off of your $20 purchase on your next cvs purchase. These can be used in addition to your ECBs. CRT coupons can also be combined with mfg coupons.Both ECB and CRT coupons are specific to your CVS account, which means you can not use them without your specific CVS card.
Combining CVS Coupons and Mfg Coupons
CVS accepts manufacturer’s coupons. CVS also issues their own store-specific coupons. You may receive CVS store-specific coupons via email, snail mail or at the bottom of your receipt (CRT coupon). In addition, you may sometimes find pre-printed coupons (or coupon booklets) in various places throughout the store. Can I print my ExtraCare rewards online?
Yes, you can print your coupons to use for in-store purchases. After you sign in to your account and have attached an ExtraCare card, go to the ExtraCare page and click on the Current Coupons tab. Then click on the coupon description for your printable coupon.
