If there is a coupon for $1.50 off, and HT doubles coupons up to .99, Will they take off $1.50 + .99 of an item; treat it as a .99 coupon and double that for $1.98 off; or do they just scan the coupon for face value?

HT has three different deals they run
They double coupons up to . 99 everyday. So you can bring a coupon in for .99 or less and they will double it up to $1.98 They do this everyday.
Then they have triples – where they will triple any coupon that is .99 or less. So you could get up to $2.97 off an item.
Then they also do Super Doubles. This is were they will double any coupon that is $1.98 or less, so essentially you could get up to $3.96 off an item.

To answer your question above, if you bring in a coupon for $1.50 off any given day, they will just take off $1.50. But if you brought in that $1.50 off coupon on Super Doubles, it would double up to $3.00 off your item.

let me know if that made or did not make any sense (:
